Terms of Service

Rules & Rights

  • I can decline the commission at my discretion.

  • I retain my artwork rights;

  • I reserve the right to use finished artworks, WIPs and timelapse videos for my portfolio and post it (or not) on social media.

  1. If you want to delay publication for a term less than 1 year, just tell me.
    In another case you can use the private commission option.

  2. If you have any wishes for publication (add logo, links, tag you in social media or any other) — let me know.

  3. Published artwork may differ slightly from those provided to you.

  • I allow to commissioner to edit commissioned artwork on the condition that when publishing or using the work, it will be mentioned that the artwork has been edited.

  • Turning commissioned artwork into NFT is prohibited unless otherwise specified.

  • Using artwork for AI training is prohibited unless otherwise specified.

  • Credit me as an artist is required.
    I also will be appreciate if you tag me as @reinemior when publishing my artworks on Twitter or Instagram.

  • Personal agreements take precedence over this agreement.

What I do & What I don't

  • I can draw in different styles and can adapt to other artists.

  • I can draw people and/or animals as staffage. Not as detailed main part;

  • I am 18+ and can draw for NSFW projects;

  • I don’t draw extremely gore stuff;

  • I don't draw for projects whose content I find unacceptable to me.

Payment

  • I receive payments via Boosty; there you can pay using PayPal or bank card.
    If you are interested in other payment methods let me know.

  • Payments via PayPal directly isn't available.

  • 30% prepayment on the sketch stage.

  • I refund prepayment only if I cancel your commission; in other cases it’s not refundable.

  • Variations can be commissioned and paid separately.

Pipeline

  • WIP’s which I send have a reduced size and watermarks. If you want to see some details in full size before full payment, I can show you a specific piece for a request.

  • I would like to ask you to warn me as soon as possible if you plan to commission variations of artwork (even if you are not going to commission them now) and/or would like to receive a PSD-file.

  • I send 2-4 key WIP + WIPs for revisions.

  1. Layout — if the main composition or angle of view is not clear; sometimes I show several to choose from;

  2. Sketch.
    After its confirmation, I request the prepayment.

  3. 3D-render — if used;

  4. Pre-final.

Edits

  • I prefer to accept edits as lists.

  • For most edits first revision list per stage free, second — for half the price.
    Some exceptions described here in «Edits for 3D-based backgrounds» section.

  • When I send you the revised WIP, I name amount for the edits I've made — current and summary for artwork. Further edits will refer to the next list.

Edits for 3D-based backgrounds
Most edits can be made for free the first time per stage. However, I would like to mention some exceptions because some kinds of changes become much more difficult if they are made too late; whereas in the earlier stages there is no problem with them. It’s actually for backgrounds based on 3D-scene: after I finish the render and start overpainting, applying edits to render become a lot more complex. So I showing you the render before overpainting it.

  • It matters what is present in the rendering. Removing, moving, reshaping, replacing items and materials will be problematic in the next stage, so I ask you to make edits of those kind now, and at the next stage I make them only for a fee.

  • If you would like to receive some parts | items present in the render as separate layers, tell me about it now, please.

  • To add items is not a problem and it's possible as part of the free edits in any stage.

  • The lighting and atmosphere of the render doesn’t matter: usually they are very different from the result and they can be changed at any stage.

  • If you aren't sure about some edits, warn me about it: I try to keep the opportunity to apply/cancel them.

Prices

Base rate is 16 USD/hr.

For environment art:
About 200-400 USD for base artwork;
8-80 USD for variation.

  • The price mainly depends on image size, location size, number of objects / details, complexity of design. Adapting to a different style can also affect the price.

  • The price is usually lower for a clear and detailed commission description than for a vague one.

  • The final price may go beyond the specified range due to variations, edits, private or rush fees, ets.

  • Price on composite variation (ex. clear day to rainy night) is higher in general, but it will be lower if we already have base variation (rainy day and/or clear night)

  • Daytime variations can cost more than just lighting if include change sky, peoples and car on streets, closing curtains, etc.

Custom requests are paid hourly.

Edits are paid hourly. For most edits first revision list per stage free, second — for half the price.

PSD-file and preparing for animation starts from 8 USD per file and depends on the task.
Private commission fee is +25% to the artwork price (for environments it is main+variation; not include psd-file, edits or rush fee)

Rush fee

  • Deadlines sooner than 30 days may require rush fee 25% if I'm loaded.

  • Urgent commission: 50% of total
    A minimal possible deadline: starts from 4 days and depends of complexity.
    Even with urgent commission open, I can decline an request if:

  • You request a term less than that in which I can done your commission, and the one I can fit into doesn't suit you.

  • Your commission too large or complex, and I can't guarantee a deadline.

  • You have an unusual request, and I can't calculate the required time.
